A Creepy Episode

Strolling around the house, seeing corners that ceased to exist. The heavy rain gracing the night, Washed away my tiredness off the list. The power went out, but my torch gave me a sense of light. Did I just spot someone? Or was it me hallucinating 'cause of my fright? There were no candles that just 'Poof' ed nor any Crosses turning upside down. But I could sense IT's presence. I could feel my confidence drown. There were these cold whispers... That had no words to give it a meaning. Do they always appear in white..? Or do they strike from back without warning..? My little toe always had a mind of its own... Like always it dashed an object, led to me falling! After I heard a 'Thud' I caught a visual of someone's rotting feet, with abnormal posturing.. They say 'You must dream to fly'... But this entity had taken a shallow flight, It made a dramatic rush through the wall, Without causing a dent in sight... When my ...

My ex valentine

The year was 2012 and I was in a relationship. My parents I assumed weren't aware of my partnership. So Valentine’s Day came by. She got me 14 gifts from the sky. So I entered my building holding those gifts. Looking like a strongman with a swag in his fists. Little did I realize seeing my mother in the distance. All of a sudden I got the feeling of an opposite effervescence. You know moms how they smirk when you’re caught. I tried telling her nonchalantly, “Ha-ha...Mom look what I got”. “Mom ah. Ah, I go… got a girl, a girlfriend... Who I was going to tell you about”. Then she showed me her phone… telling me “Awww...is this the girl? Just to clear my doubt”. Now my mom was no high ranking policewoman. Just a normal humble human. How could she have knowledge about my secret love life?. She was not on FB, Insta… or any other social media alike... Then she narrated “Once upon a recent while… Your cellular conversation was ov...

Just an ordinary device

You can't have my number. They won't give me a device. Getting money out of them is like rolling a number, Absent on the dice. Twice I begged, Twice I cried, My reasons were not clear… Because my conscience lied. I had to let go of my first                   & I stumbled upon second hand. But my dearest kin reminded me… This isn’t your piece of land. Stand up speak out, was not my kind. My morals were high, but the girl was turning me blind. Squeezing out an attitude, chasing out my childhood. Getting that first digital paper, was me stepping on to manhood. Neanderthal was I was when the device was a binocular vision. I let go scrapping and clawing, this was no more my secondary occupation. I had you finally, I could make you cool. This stuff is easy, the knowledge that doesn't translate from school. Then I met others, who were smarter than you. Suddenly you we...
